a great acoustic pop album, sounds like Serge Gainsbourg's Histoire de Melody Nelson, with a bit of Air and that new romantic style of indie pop thrown in.
Real fuckin good, check it.
Also anyone who isn't paying attention to the French Bandcamp label La Souterraine is missin out, they're putting out great shit, and all of it's for free. (or unless you wanna pay)
like they just put out a compilation album of artists who have worked under them, including Les Passagers, a group who's 2015 La Souterraine release was in my top 25 of that year.
Feeling this lo-fi, krautrock, dark pop sounding thing -
"Red Girl" is pretty good from dollraut. I think that's cause I still like to move around and its tempo is good for motion.
dark pop - it sounds like it wouldn't work, and yet it does.
In love with this Russian dream pop album -
got this thanks to pitchfork.
It's some nice depressing indie rock with a lot of screaming. Probably called emo but I like it,
maybe I like emo, who knows

Astonishing ambient album from last year that kinda went over my head.
A collaboration LP with one of the members of the collab being Suzanne Kraft, who I really need to pay more attention to. Their stuff always is beautiful and serene.
If any one wants to get into Kraft's works, also try Talk From Home, another incredible album.
A friend of mine released this a year ago. Give it a listen guys, I think he's got potential!

Hi guys, I made a thing. Check it out if you like post rock/punk, ambient, maybe some gazing at the shoes.
i hate doing this especially if i might like the music but using the forum to promote music is a reserved right for forum regulars. spend some time chillen here and make some friends and the community will be more than willing to listen and critique ur jams.
To be fair, he's made like five comments today.
Give it some more time,
, keep posting and you'll get there
For sure! I'll wait a bit, thanks for being so cool, guys!
thanks for understanding
there's a thread specific for it that only forum regulars can see. once you've been here a little bit longer someone will add you
i feel like maybe we could avoid this confusion more often if we made that thread visible to all but not postable to unless you're a regular? not sure if that's possible in vanilla forum
Maybe some sort of warning that pops up before entering the thread?
ooo that'd be fancy
i'd rather keep it private and just let people follow the rules and become friends naturally
then telling them that it exists and feel like they'd be buying time until they could start spamming
Forsure, it's just a tiny discussion. I'm the new boy on the block so I have no say of course. Really love the forum so far though, people seem great.
